Bonnie Prince, Richard
"I don’t see any difference now between what I collect and what I make. It’s become the same. What I’m collecting will, a lot of times, end up in my work." - Richard Prince
Richard Prince is a collector, hoarding all kinds of nick-nacks, but most importantly he is a book collector. Prince often references books directly in his artwork. All kinds of books from J.D. Salinger to Jim Morrison's poems.
Prince features books in his art in such a punk way, it's fantastic, the compositions are so off-beat and quirky.
